Public Involvement
During Military Appreciation Month I ran a campaign that raised $24,000 in support from businesses. My team used these funds to give out gifts as a way to thank our duty service members, their families, spouses and Department of Defense staff. This effort helped us build connections, with the community and demonstrated our deep appreciation for their important contributions.
Increased Digital Media Assets
To expand the reach of our content I strategically placed 10 digital screens in all our locations. This move has greatly boosted the exposure of our content making it easier to connect with our audience. It shows how we use technology, for communication and highlights our efforts to improve our digital media strategies.
Community Engagement
The community asked and I responded! Small business owners on the base requested safe opportunities to showcase their products. In response, I created events and involved our local business owners.
Work Culture
A positive, inspirational, and supportive work culture is important in any industry. At Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS), I featured a different employee on Sundays who has greatly impacted the community. Showcased them on our social media channel to highlight their hard work and dedication to the mission.

Logo Development
In my role, as a team leader I led the creation of fresh logo designs. I focused on nurturing creativity steering the brainstorming process and ensuring that the designs reflected our goals. Through teamwork we produced logos that truly represent our brand identity.
Activation Campaigns
Marketing management of over 12 food & hospitality facilities to ensure program promotion, menu development, social media mgmt., printed flyer/digital flyer creation.
Project Management
Spearheaded the Customer Appreciation Days (4-5x / year). Advertised on social media, flyers, digital flyers, marquees, email.
Website and Social Media Strategy
When creating a plan I outlined objectives pinpointed the specific audience demographics and created customized content. To prepare for implementation, within the organization I set up a schedule for content delivery delegated responsibilities, for overseeing and interacting with the audience and implemented a method to monitor performance metrics and make any needed changes. This method guarantees an impactful visibility.
Innovative Event Creation
Working closely with project managers we discovered that there was a growing desire, among consumers for family entertainment options. In response we. Executed events tailored to this specific demand. For example we introduced the 'Friday Finders Market' which provided a platform, for businesses run by spouses and active duty servicemembers. Additionally we organized 'Flix N' Float' a fun filled gathering where attendees could watch water themed movies while floating in a pool. These ventures not addressed the needs expressed by our audience. Also brought a fresh and distinctive element to our lineup of events.
Digital Strategist
During the pandemic, I created a program called the "Virtual Beerfest" that provided consumers a chance to try a sampling of different local beer (to be purchase at our Marine Marts), then watch online as our event hosts conducted a tasting of those brews.
Paid Media Advertising
Managed a monthly paid social media portfolio for 15+ clients with a budget of over $ 40K. Managed and optimized ongoing campaigns to maximize ROAS.
Recruitment
Promoted position availability on Facebook and LinkedIn. Shared recruitment information with community pages and city media teams.
